Mom, Candace Payne, bought not her kids but herself (she's very clear on this) a toy at Kohl's yesterday and was so keen to show her friends on Facebook her new purchase that she created, what I think to be, the best unofficial unboxing video of all time.
Payne purchased a Star Wars Electronic Chewbacca Mask which, as she delightedly demonstrates, when you open your mouth, the mask lets out a series of different wookie sounds.
Though using the Facebook Live function purely for her own friends and family's viewing, the pure joy in her new purchase and her contagious belly laughs have made the video go viral, the original with over 70 million views in its first twenty-four hours alone.
Her natural enthusiasm builds your anticipation and her reaction to her purchase makes the mask's unveiling well and truly worth the (short) wait.

I don't remember the last time I laughed myself hoarse, but her belly laughs are so infectious that she will brighten anyone's day.
Tech Times found that even Chewbacca himself, Peter Mayhew, approves! The actor chimed in to drop a comment on a Reddit post featuring the video.
"Absolutely wonderful! Cheers, Peter Mayhew," the actor commented.
"Chewbacca approved. Can't get better than that!" another Reddit user astutely noted.
Bespoke Comic Strips have joined in the fun, which Payne herself posted to her Facebook page.

Candace Payne is not the first instance of Facebook Live videos meant for private enjoyment to have gone viral in recent weeks. As Gizmodo (among many others) reported, Facebook user Kali Kanongata’a livestreamed his wife as she gave birth to their child to what he thought was a private group of family and friends. It was in fact open to public viewing. And boy did the public view it.
Due to the incredible joy the mask gave this purchaser, I can see a huge sales spike ahead for this mask. Now I wonder how many people will cosplay as Chewbacca, or cosplay as Candace Payne as Chewbacca.
Have a great weekend, everyone!
