Just as Harry Potter fans enjoy a good Butter Beer, Pumpkin Juice, and Bertie Botts Every Flavour Beans in real life, World of Warcraft (otherwise known as WoW) fans are in for a real treat. No, not a treat, a full meal, and several of them.

This is the year World of Warcraft hits the mainstream, as not only is the live-action Hollywood epic-fantasy film, Warcraft, hitting theatres June 19 and the latest expansion of the massive multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), Legion, dropping for PC on August 30, but come October 18, fans will be able to whip up fantastical medieval delicacies in their own homes thanks to the publication of World of Warcraft: The Official Cookbook by Chelsea Monroe-Cassel.

I have been watching Eurovision Song Contest religiously since 2008 when my university housemates and I channel-surfed our way into it and WTF'd our heads off. It was a madcap journey, as if time had stopped and every other country's entrant thought they were at an all-ages primary school talent competition in the 70s.

What I'm saying is it was amazing.

The Secret Weapon Every Horror Movie Uses to Scare You Silly

When a horror movie character is being stalked through the woods, not sure where danger lurks, peering around tree trunks, sure to find themselves face-to-freaking-face with a ghost/demon/axe murderer/monster, why do we find that moment so scary, exactly? Why, as we watch, from the safety of our living rooms, have we stopped breathing, and our chests feel tight, and we're frankly freaking the fuck out before the scare even happens?

It's the music. It's the horrible, eerie music that builds and builds our trepidation and anticipation for that big, scary reveal which isn't actually as scary as the dread we felt leading up to it was.

Well there is a specific instrument that is responsible for all that dread you feel, responsible for making that dark house, those empty streets, those creepy-ass woods 100% terrifying.

Film still from Independence Day 2: Resurgence
Though the "summer" blockbuster movie season is actually during winter here in Australia, the movies Hollywood believe will be the biggest moneymakers hit cinemas when school is out and the Northern Hemisphere has the time for some entertainment and desire to get out of the heat for a couple of hours.

The 2016 blockbuster movie season will soon be upon us and competition looks fierce. There's no shortage of big, star-studded movies this year. Sure, there isn't an original concept in sight - everything is either a sequel, adaptation or reboot - but it doesn't mean they won't be epic.

Harry Potter fans have been eagerly anticipating this film for a long time now: a new installment into, not the Harry Potter series, but the Harry Potter universe, titled Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

Today, Warner Bros have just released to their YouTube channel a new teaser trailer which, if I'm like any other Harry Potter fan, will make them very happy indeed.
Set well before the events of Harry Potter take place, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is based around Newt Scamander, the author of the Hogwarts textbook of the same name that the students studied from.

First released by J.K Rowling as a mini text book for Comic Relief, it's going to be wonderful to see Scamander encountering the creatures he writes about in a magical 1927 America.
